Harkin’s top priorities for this Congress are to revive our economy, reform the nation’s healthcare system, make America more energy independent, strengthen our nation’s security, and improve educational opportunities.

“I am honored to be a voice for Iowans in the U.S. Senate and I look forward to getting back to work on the issues and problems Americans care about,” said Harkin. “We are confronting some of the most severe problems we have faced in generations.  They didn’t happen overnight and they won’t be solved in a day, but together we will work to bring about the progress America needs.”
