Enhanced Content Technology (ECT) Day

The Enhanced Content Technology (ECT) Industry Day Event held March 20, 2007 was a success! Questions from attendees and subsequent dialog were informative and provided the vendor community with the insight into our ECT needs necessary to develop detailed capability statements.

As the FDsys team indicated, materials presented were designed to generate dialog. Scenarios and conversation points were intentionally made provocative and unrestrained by technical or budgetary concerns because they represent what GPO considers key customer delighters - true Voice of Customer. Our bottom line is that we intend to deliver functionality that will delight our customers, either in an already-defined release or in future releases if constraints prevent earlier delivery.

We encourage the vendor community to consider not only what is possible now, but to consider what may be possible in the near future. To meet this objective, please provide technology roadmaps for any ECT that maps to your product offerings. Roadmaps should include current capability as well as planned future capability of commercial products.
