BEA Program Award Disbursement Process
Overview

The CDFI Fund disburses on BEA Program awards as the awardee disburses on the transactions on which the award is based (i.e., "Qualified Activities").

Awardees through the FY2002 funding rounds have until the end of the calendar year three years from receiving the award to disburse on their Qualified Activities and request the corresponding disbursements on their BEA Program award. Starting with the FY 2003 funding round, awardees have 12 months from the end of the Assessment Period to disburse on Qualified Activities and 18 months to request the corresponding portion of their awards.

The CDFI Fund strongly encourages awardees to submit subsequent disbursement requests as soon as possible after they have fully disbursed on their Qualified Activities.
