2009 Biometrics Conference
January 27–28, 2009 in Arlington, Virginia
In June 2008, the President of the United States issued a national directive aimed at enhancing the security of our nation through the use and application of biometrics. The National Defense Industrial Association is providing this open forum to discuss practical approaches for implementing this directive in light of policy development, existing and planned federal programs, commercial applications of biometrics to address mission critical business goals, enabling technologies, initiatives within the international community, and challenges to achieving true interoperability and information sharing.

Counter Terror Expo '09
February 10–11, 2009 in London, England
This event will examine important topics such as maximizing interagency collaboration, analyzing the current national and global terrorist threats, identifying core competences and how to work to optimum operational efficiency, understanding the psychological profile of the terrorist, enhancing interoperability to close the capability gap, and using media communication. The conference is organized in multiple streams, including business continuity and critical infrastructure, and also features practical and technology-focused workshops.
