Reclamation Seeking Interested Parties for River Basin Water Studies - The Bureau of Reclamation is seeking letters of interest from non-Federal entities throughout the seventeen western states to conduct river basin or sub-basin studies where water supply and demand imbalances may exist. Basin Studies will examine water supply issues and study needs of unique basins in the West. These studies will help Reclamation, states, and local officials meet growing water demands while using the best science.

Public Meeting to Address Reclamation's Boulder City Historic District Properties -
On Tuesday, January 27, 2009, the Bureau of Reclamation will conduct a public meeting in Boulder City to allow for public input on Reclamation's plans for historic preservation of their properties in Boulder City, Nevada. Reclamation properties include the Administration Building and the Date Street Complex.
The meeting will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in Building 1300 of the Date Street Complex, bordered by Fir, Date and Colorado streets in Boulder City.

Rural Water Supply Interim Final Rule Available for Review - The Bureau of Reclamation has published the interim final rule which establishes the criteria for the Rural Water Supply Program, a new program at Reclamation. The Program was authorized by the Rural Water Supply Act of 2006 which authorizes Reclamation to participate in projects to develop and deliver potable water supplies to rural communities in the Western United States.
