Request for Proposals From 
Community-Police Partnerships

Announcing the 2009 MetLife Foundation Community-Police Partnership Awards administered by Local Initiatives Support Corporation. LISC and MetLife Foundation will present eleven monetary awards of $15,000 and $25,000 to partnerships between community groups and police that promote neighborhood safety and revitalization. Case studies about award-winning partnerships will be disseminated throughout the community development and law enforcement industries. Previous winners have used award money to pay for special patrols, training and equipment for officers, and community events.
