When Should You Use Social Marketing?
Many people assume that social marketing is a resource intensive process and
that you must have a large budget and many people. This can be true, but it is
also possible to use social marketing with limited resources. There are certain
modifications that can be made when you have limited resources, and those ideas will
be shared as you move through the course. If you have limited resources or are
working with a very small group of people, you can still use the social
marketing mindset (thinking about problems and issues from the standpoint of the
person who needs to change) for no cost, even if you are not able to complete
the steps in the social marketing planning process.
