SERC Affiliations SERC is a unit of the Smithsonian Institution. SERC is a member of the Association of Ecosystems Research Centers (AERC) and the National Association of Marine Laboratories. SERC participates in the Chesapeake Bay Information Network (CBIN), a network of servers supplying information on the Chesapeake Bay. SERC houses the main office of the Chesapeake Research Consortium (CRC), a confederation of universities and research centers supporting cooperative research on the Chesapeake Bay and its watershed. |
