American Association of Health Plans, now America's Health Insurance Plans (AHIP), collaborated on a five-year initiative with the ADA to work together to address the highest quality of health care for people with diabetes. The formal collaboration has ended and the initiative's impact is currently being evaluated. Activities of this initiative included community partnerships with other diabetes stakeholders, including health insurance plans. Activities will continue to be highlighted on this website.
