SMDP 2006 Annual Report to the Global AIDS Program
The 2006 Annual Report from SMDP to the CDC Global AIDS Program is now available. This report contains summaries of capacity-building activities in nine countries and project summaries for 62 applied management improvement projects carried out in seven of those countries. Project results include increased percentages of HIV-positive women returning to ante-natal clinics for care, increased ARV treatment compliance among HIV-positive patients, and an increased percentage of smear-positive TB patients returning for 2-month follow-ups, and of women and babies having postnatal checkups.
