Who participates in PedNSS?
In 2007, 44 states, 1 U.S. Territory, 5 Indian Tribal Organizations,
and the District of Columbia contributed data representing approximately
7,996,000 children < 5 years of age. PedNSS contributors are shown on
the figure below.

The majority of PedNSS records (85.4%) are from the WIC Program. The figure
below shows the distribution of records received from WIC, EPSDT, MCH and other
programs.
