The Medicare Learning Network (MLN) provides Train the Trainer educational products and resources to help contractors understand changes in the Medicare Program and how those changes impact Medicare providers and suppliers.

Medicare Learning Network (MLN) Product and Resource Guide

We all know that the Medicare Program is very complex and Medicare providers are often faced with uncertainty when it comes to keeping up with all of the continuing changes in Medicare policy.  That is why we created the Medicare Learning Network (MLN), a brand name for official CMS national FFS provider education products.  

Have you ever had difficulty locating information on specific Medicare topics? The "MLN Product & Resource Guide" includes a chart with new MLN Products by provider type.  It is a valuable tool designed to familiarize CMS staff and Medicare contractors with the inventory of MLN products available and to assist in targeted product selection when conducting provider outreach events.  

We appreciate the assistance you provide us with spreading the word to the provider community about the availability of MLN products. Additionally, we value any feedback you can give us regarding our products either from you and your colleagues, or from the providers with whom you interact. You can send your feedback, questions or comments to our MLN feedback mailbox at MLN@cms.hhs.gov.

Technical Support Contractor

The Technical Support Contractor (TSC), currently Flashpoint Internet Solutions, is
available at (703) 754-4387. Per the manual the TSC coordinates the following
telecommunications services:

  • Toll Free Service – Add, delete, or move toll free telephone numbers.
  • Bandwidth changes – Add, delete, or modify circuits and trunk groups.
  • Service Outage Support - After the contact center files an incident report with the
    FTS service provider, TSC personnel are available to answer technical questions
    and help coordinate timely service restoration.
  • Toll Free Number Routing – Create, modify, and activate toll free routing plans
    supporting normal service routing, major outages, and disaster recovery.
