a) during the 3 months prior to pregnancy

a) Women with valid cigarettes/day-3 months prior data. Complete and prenatal only records.
b) Women with valid cigarettes/day-prenatal visit data. Complete and prenatal only records.
c) Women with valid cigarettes/day-last 3 months data. Complete and postpartum only records.
d) Women with valid cigarettes/day-PP visit data. Complete and PP only records.
a) Number of women who smoked before pregnancy divided by the number of women with data on smoking before pregnancy.
b) Number of women who smoked at the initial (prenatal) visit divided by the number of women with data on smoking at the initial (prenatal) visit.
c) Number of women who smoked the last three months of pregnancy divided by the number of women with data on smoking the last three months of pregnancy.
