*a pregnancy is defined as 20 or more weeks gestation regardless of whether the infant(s) was alive or dead at birth. Multiple births count as one. The current pregnancy does not count.
Women with valid parity data. All records, complete and prenatal or postpartum only. a) Number of women with no previous pregnancies divided by the number of women with data on parity.
b) Number of women with 1 previous pregnancy divided by the number of women with data on parity.
c) Number of women with 2 previous pregnancies divided by the number of women with data on parity.
d) Number of women with 3 or more previous pregnancies divided by the number of women with data on parity.
