LandView
LandView is a database management system that uses MARPLOT, CAMEO's mapping program, as its mapping display. LandView was developed by NOAA, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), and the U.S. Census Bureau.
LandView's collection of data (such as EPA-regulated sites and demographic and economic information from the 2000 census) is automatically linked with the associated MARPLOT maps and can be queried using MARPLOT's search mechanism.
LandView's MARPLOT maps include:
- EPA-regulated sites
- Demographic data
- Geographic boundaries (such as states, counties, cities, and congressional districts)
- Geographic Names Information System (GNIS) features
- Selected Federal Lands from the USGS National Atlas
To get LandView, follow the links at right. LandView includes its own MARPLOT maps and the MARPLOT program, so you do not need to download those separately.
