CDC Celebrates 30 Years of the Newborn Screening Quality Assurance Program
July marks 30 years of CDC’s Newborn Screening Quality Assurance Program, the only comprehensive program in the world devoted to quality assurance of newborn screening tests. Because of this program, thousands of babies are saved from death and disability each year.
