Tornado passed over downtown Sulligent 1500 feet in the air. Two tractor sheds, a small gun shop and an empty house were destoryed. Trees uprooted and twisted and 1 home had shingles blown off.

Brief touchdown with major damae to 3 homes. Ten large trees toppled and 1 barn destroyed by a falling tree.

Windows blown outward in 1 home. Roofs damaged on 6 homes with 6 autos receiving damage. One mobile home was completely destroyed.
1976 3 12 2120 Elmore F3 5.0 0 15 Eclectic
Many persons said they heard the tornado and took cover. The Eclectic City Hall clock stopped at 9:23 pm. Eight homes were completely destroyed with major damage to 10 and minor damage to 12. Seven mobile homes were demolished with major damage to 1 and minor damage to 2. Three businesses received major damage with damage to 6 barns and 6 boats. 8 cattle wre lost.

6 houses and 3 mobile homes destroyed, with 17 other houses 7 mobile homes receiving major damage. Additional damage to 1 business, 10 farm buildings and 1 tractor.
1976 3 12 2027 Marengo F2 15.0 0 1 Faunsdale-Jefferson Communities
6 homes and 3 mobile homes were destroyed. Several buildings received major damage.
1976 3 12 1650 Sumter F1 1.0 0 2 Gainesville
Injuries confined to mobile home in open field. Remainder of damage was mainly trees and 3 additonal roofs.
1976 1 13 1905 Jefferson F2 300 yds 0 1 Birmingham
Tornado touched down at intersection of 19th Street and 10 Ave South. A portion of a roof was ripped off an office building and a roof-mounted air conditioner was hurled northward against an adjacent parking deck. A roof-mounted walking track was ripped off the YMCA building and several windows were broken. Flying debris injured 1 boy at the YMCA, but hospitalization was not required. Several other buildings had windows blown out.
