At least 7 barns and 2 homes were destroyed along the path.

One boy was killed at Laneville. Several homes and a sawmill were destroyed west and northwest of Marion.

Most of the village of Central City was destroyed.

Three major injuries occurred as a home was blown away near Crawford. Two more injuries occurred in small homes near Dudley.

A large home was leveled and a prominent family was killed. 4 others may have died on nearby plantations.
