Abstract
A method for producing metallic particles with a controlled size distribution.

Application(s)

  • Conducting paints and inks
  • Pyrotechnics and explosives
  • Raw materials for powder metallurgy

Advantages
This process offers significant advantages over traditional techniques such as wet-ball milling including:

  • Particles with 0.5-3 micron diameter
  • High efficiency - Highly spherical particles
  • Relatively tight particle size distribution
  • Low up-front capital costs
