Method for Producing Metallic Microparticles
Abstract
A method for producing metallic particles with a controlled size distribution.
Application(s)
- Conducting paints and inks
- Pyrotechnics and explosives
- Raw materials for powder metallurgy
Advantages
This process offers significant advantages over traditional techniques such as wet-ball milling including:
- Particles with 0.5-3 micron diameter
- High efficiency - Highly spherical particles
- Relatively tight particle size distribution
- Low up-front capital costs
