Severe Storms Across the Fox Valley - September 13, 2005

Severe thunderstorms developed ahead of a cold front across Wisconsin during the late afternoon and evening of September 13. Winds in excess of 70 mph blew numerous trees and power lines down across east-central Wisconsin. The hardest hit areas included parts of Appleton and Freedom (Outagamie Co.) and the village of Allouez in Brown County. An F0 tornado also touched down in De Pere and Allouez.
Total damage across east-central Wisconsin was over $1.2 million.
