Medicaid Enterprise Certification Toolkit The Medicaid Enterprise Certification Toolkit (Toolkit for short) was developed to assist States in all phases of the MMIS life cycle beginning with the preparation of an APD through the certification review (Refer to Chapter 2 of the Toolkit) The main feature of the Toolkit is the twenty (20) checklists that were developed for six (6) different Business Areas. The checklists contains the Business Area objectives and relating system review criteria necessary to meet the requirements specified in Federal and State laws and regulations. The Toolkit begins with a cover page, a Preface, Disclaimer and Table of Contents. This information is followed by 5 chapters. The Toolkit chapter names are listed below: Chapter 1: Medicaid Enterprise Certification Toolkit Overview Chapter 2: Medicaid Enterprise Certification Roadmap Chapter 3: Protocols Chapter 4: Using the Checklists Chapter 5: The Checklists - Checklists are shown as separate files.
