Public health law comes
into being only after a public health problem or need has been defined, a legislative or
regulatory solution tailored, and a specific law or regulation drafted-all of which need
the input of public health professionals. This module covers the process of drafting
legislation and regulations and highlights the ways you can shape the enactment of clear,
effective, and enforceable laws and regulations.
