Cooperative Forestry

Cooperative Forestry contributes to healthy forests and livable communities in or near national, state, and private forests across the country. The responsibility of Cooperative Forestry is to offer programs that provide specific types of assistance to all of our customers, including Federal land managers, State forestry agencies, local governments, educational institutions, associations and volunteer groups.

Our goal is to connect people to resources, ideas and one another so they c an care for forests and sustain their communities. This in turn contributes to healthy forests and livable communities near and through our Nation's forests.

Cooperative Forestry provides assistance in the following four major areas:

• Natural Resource Conservation Education
• Economic Action
• Landowner Assistance
• Urban and Community Forestry
