Imagine the Universe! Resources Wiki

Welcome to our new Resources wiki page. This is an experimental feature of our site in which you are able to share astronomy resources which you have found useful. These resources may include other web sites, posters, books, magazines, slide sets, videos, blogs, and whatever else you think other educators will find useful.

So browse the topics below for our current list of resources.

If you have resources to suggest in any of these topics, go to that topic and add them to the page. To do so, you must create a Login ID to edit pages and add resources (see How To Use This Site, below, for further information). Please don't delete any resources that are already listed. The Imagine the Universe! team reserves the right to review and edit resource entries.

NOTE: You can only edit the existing topics pages. You won't be able to add new pages. If you would like to suggest additional topics, please email us at itu@lists.nasa.gov.

How to use this site

A Wiki is a collaborative site, to which anyone can contribute and share. It's easy - here's how:

  • First Login using a username and password you create for this site. The Login link is at the top of the page, above and to the right of the Imagine the Universe banner graphic. If you don't have a Login, you can create a one using that link.

  • At the bottom of the listing for any Resource Topic, follow the link to "Add more resources". This will take you to a version of the topic resource page which can be edited.
  • Edit the editable topic resource page by pressing Edit (located at the top and possibly the bottom of the page). Add your resource with a short description.

  • We encourage you to follow the format in the existing pages. To experiment with editing, go to the WikiSandBox

  • Search for page titles or text within pages using the search box at the top of any page
  • Also see HelpForBeginners to get you going.
