Master Class: Gabriel Alegría Afro-Peruvian Sextet
Free and open to the public, the Alegría sextet leads the public in an exploration of Afro-Peruvian jazz Thursday, January 22 at 4:00 pm in Tyler-Tallman Hall, Sloan Music Building.
RE/FORMATIONS: Disability, Women, and Sculpture
Five female artists exhibit sculpture that examines disability not as mental or physical insufficiency, but as a cultural identity from January 16 through February 27 in the Van Every/Smith Galleries, Belk Visual Arts Center. Free and open to the public.
