miniaturize laser diode and electronics package designed fro OEM
marketplace
- Laser offers wavelengths from
630 nm out to 2000 nm
- 200 units have been delivered
to research universities
- Firm anticipates sales of $
3M in 1997

APPLICATIONS
- High bit rate coherent optical
communication systems, passive ring cavity-type fiber gyroscopes,
optically pumped rubidium and cesium clocks
- Precision metrology, and the
detection of trace compounds and pollutants in the atmosphere and

and agricultural food processing
