The solution is simple. The FCC must adopt the same regulation that the FTC has regarding automated telemarketing calls. These nuisance calls must be stopped. It is not only an uninvited invasion of my privacy but it usurps the telephone service which I pay for. If I am to be the the object of telemarketing, the cost of the device and the service to make the connection should be born by the telemarketer. When the telemarketers begin paying for my telephone service then and only then do they have the right to utilize.
