I would like to know why everyone wants to make it so easy for telemarketers to call people who don't want to be bothered. It's pretty obivious by the number of people signed up on the list that we are sick of calls! Why is it still possible for us to be contacted when we have already stated that we do not want to be by signing up with the FTC in the first place. Everyone in the industry is bellyaching about their rights to contact us, but what about our rights if we don't want to be contacted. If I signed up on the do not call list, that means I do not want to be called!!!! I don't think that they anyone should be trying to make loop holes in this law when I've have already said I don't want to be contacted. I am sick and tired of being bothered. The last year has been really nice because I have hardly received any calls from anyone. I want to continue that and I don't want it to change! If I did, I would ask to be removed from the list!
