Please DO NOT allow this change to happen. As it is now, my phone calls have reduced dramically, and I truly appreciate the silence. Only allowing charities and the such to call makes life much easier. I have never bought anything over the phone, nor do I wish for a product to be attempted to be sold to me over the phone. It doesn't matter if I have an "established business relationship" with them or not. I just don't want them to call me unless there's a billing problem, or something that's going to financially harm me. In those few rare cases, I don't want a pre-recorded message, I want a human saying "Hey, you're gonna go broke if you don't fix this error." That's the only time I want a phone call from a business. No good can come from this change, and no matter how much someone is being payed/bribed/talked into allowing this monstrosity, it shouldn't happen. The Do-Not-Call List was an excellent idea, and it's implementation (albeit shaky) has worked. I normally don't voice my opinion on things involving the FCC, but this caught my attention, especially since it's reversing the good caused by the Do Not Call List. Please consider all the crappy telemarketing calls you've received. It's crazy to allow this to proceed further than it has. Please don't let this see the light of day.
