My name has been on the DNC list since its inception. Since then, my family and I have enjoyed our dinners together without the agonizing interruption of telemarketers trying to sell me something I do not want. Before, we could not watch one movie together without the phone ringing at least three times. Now, we sit and watch in peace and quiet. The DNC has made me, my family, and countless others very happy. Do not throw it away by allowing some calls through - even calls from companies with whom I already do business. Therefore, I do not believe there should be any change to the Do Not Call List, unless it is to make it where no one or company can call you, unless you specifically request them to call. This includes anyone that you do business with. I pay for the convenience of having a telephone, for my needs, not to be disturbed by a calling center, who calls when they desire. If I choose to do business with a company, I will call them; this includes those I have done business with previously. In other words, I do not want anyone calling me, unless I give express consent, not implied.
