Do not do this. Do not corrupt the do-not-call list with more and more loopholes. You don't see any dramatic changes caused by this proposal? I guess you guys all have some special phones. One. I don't want to answer my phone to hear advertising. It's my phone, goddammit. If they want my time to listen to their blather, they can damn well pay me for the privilege. Two. Answering a phone and heaing a recorded call sucks big time. It is so much more offensive than a human I can yell at. Three. Last time I got recorded phone calls, they did not hang up until they had finished their messages. They did NOT hang up when I hung up. I do NOT appreciate having my phone tied up for who knows how long and I can't call out. What if I have to call 911? What if I am waiting for an important call? What if I run a business and need to keep my phone open for my customers? Jerks. Keep your idiotic solutions for your own kind. Keep this nonsense away from real humans.
