Regarding the proposed amendent to allow prerecorded messages; I strongly encourage not passing/adding/allowing an amendment, especially for prerecorded calls. I find prerecorded messages to be among the most annoying because getting placed on the calling firm's 'Do Not Call List' requires me to place an outgoing call and go through that company's messaging system. Beyond the time and annoyance I am always concerned that my calling them somehow puts me in the category of 'having a relationship' with that company and allows for more calls because of loopholes. On the other hand I have had good success at being removed from call lists simply by asking to be placed on the 'Do Not Call List'. Prerecorded calls, in my opinion, are worse and not better than 'live' calls.
