Dear FTC, I wish to register my opposition to the amendment of the Telemarketing Sales Rule to create an additional call abandonment safe harbor to allow telemarketing calls that deliver a prerecorded message. If I want a product or service I am perfectly capable of locating a source on my own, at my discretion and at a time I choose. I consider these calls (of which I get one or two a month) to be a waste of my time and the sponsor's. I do not, and will not, patronize anyone who cold calls me out of the phone book. I resent having my telephone listing used in this manner and refuse to be "harvested" for such activities. Thanks for the opportunity to register my comment. Rick Prevallet
