Why would you allow pre-recorded messages when live phone calls are not? If FTC gets as much junk e-mail as I do on a daily basis, what do they think will happen when they allow pre-recorded messages? Computers will be able to generate thousands of computerized messages to be send an hour that will not only clog up our message machines but also annoy the hell our of us more than the telemarketers. Now when we get home we will have to clean out our message machines just like we do our e-mail boxes. Don't we have enough to do during the day? Also, the pre-recorded messages will continue into the night, I am sure, which will still interrupt our needed silent nights from harassing companies. Please do not allow this ammendment to be added to the Do-Not-Call policy. I enjoy my peace now being on the list and would like to keep it that way. Thank you.
