Join us for this ongoing series for music lovers and jazz afficianodos. Music professor Danilo Lozano hosts an intimate discussion and performance with Bobby Sanabria and John Santos, two of the foremost experts in Afro-Latin music in the world today.
Sanabria is a leader in the Afro-Cuban and jazz fields as both drummer and percussionist and is recognized as one of the most articulate scholars of la tradición. Santos is best known for his innovative use of traditional forms and instruments in combination with contemporary music, and has earned much respect and recognition as a record and event producer.
