PVAMU Partners With Texas A&M To Strengthen Construction Management Program

COLLEGE STATION, Texas-- Prairie View A&M University will enhance its residential construction management academic program through a partnership with the Department of Construction Science at Texas A&M University’s College of Architecture, which received a $100,000 grant from the philanthropic arm of the National Association of Home Builders.

PVAMU Capital Campaign EXTEND THE VIEW Closes: $30 Million Goal Surpassed

PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas-- Today, Prairie View A&M University officials announced the successful completion of the university's first-ever capital campaign, EXTEND THE VIEW: Shape Tomorrow Today. As of November 2008, the campaign raised $32.2 million for the university's endowment, exceeding its goal of $30 million. The campaign officially ended Dec. 31, 2008.

ING HBCU Calendar Spotlights Prairie View A&M

PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas--Prairie View A&M University is featured in the ING “Historically Black Colleges and Universities: Continuing to Make History” 2009 calendar. Schenectady, New York --The Schenectady County Community College Board of Trustees passed a resolution appointing PVAMU alumnus Dr. Quintin B. Bullock as President of SCCC at their meeting on Monday, Dec. 15, 2008.
