NSSDC ID: SPMS-00422
Availability: At NSSDC, Ready for Electronic Access
Time span: 1991-07-18 to 2000-05-31
This data set consists of 1.024-min averages of the magnetic field vectors in solar ecliptic and solar magnetospheric coordinate systems. Both Cartesian components and the corresponding field direction angles are given. Standard deviations in the component averages, and spacecraft position information, are also included. It is important to note that the convention Jan. 1 = day 0 (decimal day) is used through the end of 1991, and the convention Jan. 1 = day 1 (calendar day) is used for 1/1/92 and later. The data were provided by the P.I. on ASCII tapes, with 217 bytes per 1.024-min record. The data are ftp-accessible. Please see ftp://nssdcftp.gsfc.nasa.gov/spacecraft_data/imp/imp8/mag/1min_ascii/
