TSARP Maps are Effective

The new maps created by TSARP are now the FEMA effective Flood Insurance Rate Maps and are being used to determine insurance requirements and rates. This is the final deliverable of the Tropical Storm Allison Recovery Project. Over the next few weeks many of the aspects of this website will be archived and stored on the Districts main site, www.hcfcd.org.

We are also going to continue to update and improve the Interactive Mapping Tool and it will remain available as an informational tool. For official flood zone determinations you should contact your insurance agent or floodplain administrator. You can also view the maps for Harris County and the surrounding counties at the FEMA Map Store.

If you have questions about TSARP or the FEMA Flood Insurance Rate Maps please, click here to email your questions, or call the District at 713-684-4000.
