This class appears to be similar to an ESL/Civics program. If you can't
take field trips, try to have the police, fire, local bank, etc.come to your
class. We have had all those and more come to our classes and we have taken
low level English learners to the police station, library, local park
programs, shopping centers, food stores (they even gave students a behind
the scenes look). It is great for English immersion.
