An ESL / EFL administrator & instructor for decades, in both the U.S. and
abroad, in intensive university programs and work-sites, a bogus applicant can
be detected in a matter of minutes with a few carefully chosen questions. The
fraudulent certificate may get someone in the door of a "desperate" language
school abroad, but the applicant wouldn't get a contact with any English
language teaching organization where quality of instruction and student
satisfaction are the priorities.
