Hi,

>From the National Links page http://www.nifl.gov/lincs/ you can easily
access all the resource centers around the country. Scroll down to the
bottom and if you select Southern Links and then choose Virginia, you will
see our wonderful site that offers so much information and guidance, that
you will never be lacking for something new to read and learn.

Hi,

Many resource centers already exist, including the ESL Special Collection
funded by the National Institute For Literacy. www.literacynet.org/esl.

The Special Collection has many resources for free download, as well as
links to many useful websites. Every item on the Special Collection has
been peer-reviewed and approved by myself, Tom Mueller of ProLiteracy
America, and Andy Nash of World Education.

When you visit the Special Collection, you can also download an application
for a $500 mini-grant. We are soliciting proposals for innovative ESL
projects.

Peace,
Matthew Scelza

Recently, I made my bilingual texts available free
to people on this list, and I was a little surprised
to receive responses from at least 70 people.
Many teachers were also interested in bilingual
material for their students who spoke languages other
than Spanish.
So, I would like to ask the members of this list
if there is any interest in creating a web page that
could serve as a centralized location offering various
resources and information, such as multi-lingual
dictionaries, lesson plans, audios, texts, etc., etc.,
etc.
