If a member is being disrespectful and disregarding the rules of the listserv, I understand her need to stop this ASAP. Mary Ann did the same thing when someone else was being very rude, a few years back. Rudeness to other members is not acceptable, anywhere. I really liked Sylvan's point about how because we don't see one another, we tend to not see our members as real.
