You know, I often find that K-12 activities and materials can be useful to my adult learners. The whole idea of ESL is to simplify it to the point where one can comprehend it, and gradually build in complexity. Also, in a Family Literacy setting it is often quite appropriate to use children's materials. In other settings it may not be so. I would imagine that quite a few of the things we talk about here may be useful to you. Of course, we also do a little talking about the whole Adult Ed system and how that all works, which wouldn't be all that applicable. But mostly what I've seen here are actual discussions of how people learn language and how we can better help them to do that. There's still some controversy over whether people of different ages learn languages differently, and that may be an interesting discussion.
