Mike Ryan selected as Great Plains Region Regional Director

Mike Ryan was Reclamation's Northern California Area Manager. In that capacity since 1996, he provided oversight for the operation and maintenance of 9 dams with a combined storage of 7 million acre feet of storage for flood protection and the delivery of water to hundreds of municipalities and irrigation entities from Redding to Bakersfield, Calif. He also oversaw the operation and maintenance of 6 power plants that annually produce roughly 4 million kilowatt hours of electricity.

RECLAMATION-WIDE POWER PERFORMANCE

Our Reclamation-wide power performance data for Fiscal Year 2004 is now accessible on this Internet site. Reclamation incorporates monthly hydroelectric powerplant performance data into an electronic database and a long term trend analysis tool.
