Wexler Questions Condoleezza Rice on False Statements Leading to Iraq War
Rice denies ever seeing intelligence that cast doubt on threat posed by Iraq

(Washington, DC) Today, Congressman Robert Wexler (D-FL), Chairman of the Subcommittee on Europe and a senior member of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs, questioned Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice on the over 900 false statements made by White House officials leading up to the war as recently reported by the Center for Public Integrity.  In response to Wexler's questioning, Secretary Rice denied ever seeing intelligence that cast doubt on claims that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction.
