Presidential Inauguration Ticket Information

Congressman Wexler's office is unfortunately unable to grant any more requests for tickets to the 2009 presidential inauguration. Congressman Wexler's office received less than 200 tickets to distribute while receiving over 10,000 requests for tickets.

If you have already submitted a request for tickets, calling the office is not necessary. You will receive a notification email by December 18, 2008 if your request has been granted.

Tickets are not able to be mailed. If you receive a ticket you will be given instructions on how to pick up the ticket on January 19, 2009 in Washington, DC.

If you did not receive a ticket, you may still come to Washington, DC and witness the inauguration of President-elect Obama. Millions of Americans are expected to gather at the national mall to be part of history. Large sections of the national mall will be open to the public.
