Goals
S&T Program Outcome Goal: Produce a 10:1 return on the program’s R&D investment in terms of the economic present value of the quantity of water liberated, power generated, or operational costs avoided for stakeholders as a result of deploying program R&D outputs.
S&T Program Output Goals: Output goals are direct
outputs from the program research efforts that catalyze progress toward
S&T Program outcome goals
- Output Goal 1: Partnership Contributions
– Increase R&D collaboration by increasing the amount of resource
leveraging (in-kind services and cash) per program dollar by 5% each
year. This is a surrogate goal that measures the value others place
in the outputs and outcomes of the research.
- Output Goal 2: Science & Technology Bulletins - Increase technology transfer to end-users by increasing the production rate of electronic S&T Bulletins per program dollar by 5% each year.
