Financial Studies

The Financial Studies section conducts policy analysis and theoretical and applied economic research on issues pertaining to financial stability, linkages between the financial sector and the macroeconomy, linkages across institutions and markets within the financial sector, and the regulation and supervision of financial firms. This work supports the Board's analysis of the economy, its monetary policy decision-making, and its supervisory and regulatory activities.
