I agree w you. Also the listserv might be interested to know that the AMA 
is coming out w a HL text . Mark Williams [ father of the TOFHLA} and I 
have written a chapter on assessment of literacy in health care settings 
which includes a discussion of all literacy tests we could find that have 
been used in health research.
