Capitol Tours
One of the great honors of representing Florida’s 12th Congressional District is to be able to assist my constituents who are visiting Washington, DC., with arrangements to tour the U.S. Capitol and some of our nation's most historic landmarks, including the White House, Pentagon, Supreme Court, Library of Congress, National Archives, Bureau of Engraving and Printing, and Kennedy Center. There are a limited number of tours available for each institution, so please submit your requests well in advance of your travel.
To initiate a tour request, please contact Kelly White in my Bartow office by e-mail at kelly.white@mail.house.gov OR by calling my Bartow office at 863-534-3530. You may also call my Washington, D.C. office at 202-225-1252 and ask to speak with the D.C. Tour Coordinator. Please be prepared to provide the following information:
- Last name of tour group
- Number of attendees (adults and children)
- Dates of visit
- Any special needs (wheelchairs, etc)
- Email address, phone number and mailing address
I am also happy to provide constituents with tickets to the House Gallery and Senate Gallery for you to watch the House and Senate when they are in session.
Please be aware that all groups will be required to pass through Capitol Police security screening upon entering the Capitol building. You may not bring certain items on the tour. Prohibited items include but are not limited to: food, drinks, mace/pepper spray, aerosol containers, oversized bags or backpacks, suitcases, or certain sharp objects such as knives or box cutters.
